Graduate Research Assistant
Department of Mechanical Enginering, Virginia Tech
I am current a fifth-year Ph.D student in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech working with Prof. Jiangtao Cheng. I was born and grew up in the hometown of the Confucius, Shandong province, China. I received my bachelor’s degree from the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2014 and then entered Virginia Tech as a direct Ph.D student. Aided by theoretical modeling, computational simulations, and experiments, my research centers on interfacial science and wetting dynamics on functional surfaces.
My paper entitled "Resistant Energy Analysis of Self-Pulling Process during Dropwise Condensation on Superhydrophobic Surfaces" has been accepted for publication on Nanoscale Advances
December 19, 2018
My co-authored paper entitled "Characterization of bubble column photobioreactors for shear-sensitive microalgae culture" has been accepted for publication on Bioresource Technology.
